1/14/2004 | Congratulations to Cyruss, RayRay, Lisa and Big Ray of the Simbol family, on their promotion to the rank of white/yellow belt.
The promotions took place at Sigung Tony Kattengell's and Siti Theresa Kattengel's studio, Kattengell's Kajukenbo Karate in San Jose.
Thank you Sigung for your time and having us down to your studio and for being present.
Sigung was very impressed with these new Kajukenbo practitioners. Forms, squat sets and especially self-defense techniques were executed very strong as Kajukenbo should be.
Again, thanks for the putting in the time and a great effort into your test. You looked great and you made me look good as your Sifu. It just goes to show that our style of karate comes from good roots.
Good luck and continued success in you quest for your black belt.
